Crafted in 2013 to commemorate 45 years of cigar rolling in Esteli, Joya de Nicaragua pulled out all the stops to create the Cuatro Cinco Reserva blend.
Rolled by only the best in the factory, boxed pressed with an impressive band, and draw tested for quality. Joya wanted to roll something memorable, and they have.
The Joya Cuatro Cinco Double Robusto uses 5-year-old Ligero for the wrapper and the filler leaf has been aged in oak barrels for over a year which simply adds to the pleasure.
This Medium-bodied cigar has intriguing flavours that change as you smoke it down.
Buy Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial Cigar contains one special cigar, a 7 x 52 which is not commercially available, the Double Corona. All profits from the sale of these cigars go to the ProNica fund which is a fund established by Sasja Van Horssen one of Europes premier Cigar merchants. The fund has the objective of supporting social welfare initiatives in Nicaragua, specifically education of children from the poorest families in Esteli, where the Joya factory is located .
These cigars are medium to full in strength with rich Nicaraguan complexity with subtle notes of wood with a slight sweetness throughout with a velvet finish. These cigars are truly magnificent with every last puff.
